The accident hospital was built by the management of the Accident Workers‘ Insurance Company for Moravia and Silesia. Insurance company it has been housed in this building since 1913. Specialized teams of doctors were to save the insurance company the cost of trea- ting its 800,000 policyholders. The writer Franz Kafka worked in the management of the Prague headquar- ters of this insurance company.

There was an X-ray in this part of the building during communism. There has been nothing here for the last decade ....
